‘Saturday Night Fever’ to return to London in 2022
The national tour will play at the Peacock Theatre for eight weeks.
You should be dancin’ into the Peacock Theatre next year, as Saturday Night Fever returns to London. As part of the show’s national tour, Saturday Night Fever is at the Peacock Theatre from 4 February - 26 March.
Based on the 1977 film starring John Travolta, Saturday Night Fever follows Tony Manero and his road to dancing success. Saturday Night Fever features hits by the Bee Gees, including “How Deep Is Your Love,” “Night Fever” and “More Than a Woman.” But for this tour, additional Bee Gees songs have been added, including “Words” and “Too Much Heaven.”
Richard Winsor will lead the cast as Tony Manero. Olivia Fines will play Stephanie, joined by Jake Byrom, Oliver Thomson, and James Hudson, who will play and sing the Bee Gees' soundtrack. The Saturday Night Fever cast is completed by Kevin O’Dwyer as Bobby C, James Brice as Gus, Paul French as Double J, Michael Cortez as Joey, Jasmin Colangelo as Annette, Tosca Fischer as Connie, Lydia Bradd as Linda, Philip Aiden as Frank Senior, Marios Nicolaides as Frank Junior, Melody Jones as Flo Manero, Faizal Jaye as DJ Monty, Celeste Zollino, Ashley Luke Lloyd, Luca Rapisarda, James Wilkinson-Jones, Helen Gulston, and James Cohen.
Bill Kenwright directs Saturday Night Fever, with Kenwright also confirming that this production will feature onstage actor-musicians playing the Bee Gees. The further creative team includes choreography by Bill Deamer, scenic design by Gary McCann, lighting design by Nick Richings, and sound design by Dan Samson.
