Following Nica Burns teasing the reopening of Everybody's Talking About Jamie on Radio 2 earlier this week, a reopening date has been posted. Everybody's Talking About Jamie will return to the Apollo Theatre from 20 May, with Shane Richie reprising the role of Hugo/Loco Chanelle.

Richie was due to star in the musical from January, however Everybody's Talking About Jamie was forced to shut its doors once again following new Coronavirus guidelines.

In a tweet from Daily Mail entertainment reporter Baz Bamigboye, Shane Richie will return as Hugo/Loco Chanelle from 20 May - 18 July. Richie first played Hugo/Loco Chanelle from 28 January - 4 May 2019, but he's best known for playing Alfie Moon in BBC's Eastenders. Notable stage credits include The Perfect Murder opposite his television co-star Jessie Wallace, as well as Grease, Boogie Nights and One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.

Further casting includes Noah Thomas, Melissa Jacques, Sejal Keshwala, Hiba Elchikhe, Gillian Ford, Alexander Archer, Zion Battles, Marlon G. Day, James Gillan, Zahra Jones, Emily Kenwright,  Keenan Knight, Jordan Laviniere, Garry Lee, David O'Reilly, Harriet Payne, Jordan Ricketts and Rachel Seiran.

Everybody's Talking About Jamie is at the Apollo Theatre from 20 May.
