About Six

Written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, Six tells the stories of Henry VIII's wives as they share what it was like being married to the Tudor monarch, with original songs influenced by contemporary female singers to transform the women from Tudor queens to pop princesses.

Six received its debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2018, subsequently transferring to the Arts Theatre in January 2019, where it has played an open-ended run ever since. Six was nominated for five Olivier Awards last year, including best new musical, best choreography and best design.

In 2020, there will be productions of Six in three continents, with a touring Australian production, the musical's upcoming Broadway premiere at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre and an open-ended run in Chicago.
