A UK tour of South Pacific will open in 2022, preceded by a summer season at Sadler's Wells. South Pacific is at Sadler's Wells from 27 July to 28 August.

South Pacific ran at the Chichester Festival Theatre earlier this year. Speaking about the London transfer, producers Jamie Wilson and Jonathan Church said: "After experiencing the buzz of the auditorium in Chichester, along with the rapturous applause and standing-ovations, we knew that this production... just had to have a further life so that the magic of it could be enjoyed by everyone."

Set on a South Pacific island during World War II, an American nurse falls in love with a French plantation owner. South Pacific features songs by Rodgers and Hammerstein, including "Some Enchanted Evening" and "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair".
