'The Lehman Trilogy' rounds out its new cast for West End revival
Banking drama The Lehman Trilogy returns to the West End, completing its new cast and set for limited run starting in September at Gillian Lynne Theatre.
Save up your pennies and get ready to see the new cast of Sam Mendes's successful production of The Lehman Trilogy. The five-time Tony Award-winning production returns to London's West End at the Gillian Lynne Theatre from 24 September 2024 until 5 January 2025 for a strictly limited run. Opening night is 9 October.
John Heffernan, Aaron Krohn and Howard W. Overshown will step back into their black suits as the original Lehman Brothers, as well as their sons, and grandsons. They're joined by Valentine Hanson as Understudy Emanuel Lehman, Leighton Pugh as Understudy Henry Lehman, Simon Victor as Janitor and Understudy Mayer Lehman, Ali Berry as Understudy Pianist. Cat Beveridge and Anyssa Neumann will reprise their respective performances as principal pianist and alternate pianist.
This giant undertaking written by Stefano Massini, adapted by Ben Power, and directed by theatre and screen legend Sam Mendes spins the story and legacy of the brothers who would change the way we know banking and finance. Spanning over a century and across generations, The Lehman Trilogy invites audiences to watch the creation of the immense world of the Lehman Brothers, from their humble beginnings in New York in the 1860s to the fall of their gargantuan empire during the 2008 financial crash.
