The Phantom of the Opera now booking to 1 Jan 2005

The Phantom of the Opera, has announced a new 9 month booking period covering performances from 29 Mar 2004 to 1 Jan 2005 at Her Majesty's Theatre.

This long running musical, which has been playing in London since 1986, is now in its 18th year.

Directed by Harold Prince, it has music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Charles Hart .

The show currently features John Owen-Jones (The Phantom) , Richard Hazell (Monsier Firmin) , Jim Heath (Piangi), Katie Knight-Adams (Christine) Nicky Adams will play 'Christine at certain performances), Ramin Karimloo (Raoul), Heather Jackson (Madame Giry), Judith Gardner Jones (Carlotta), Sam Hiller (Monsieur Andre), Heidi Ann O'Brien (Meg).

Worldwide, The Phantom of the Opera, has grossed over £3.5 billion. The box office revenues are higher than any film or stage play in history, including "Titanic", "ET" and "Star Wars". It has been seen in 112 cities in 21 countries and played to over 100 million people.

'This haunting musical traces the tragic love story of a beautiful opera singer and a young composer shamed by his physical appearance into a shadowy existence beneath the majestic Opera Paris House.'
