Title of Show revived at the Waterloo East Theatre

A new production of the Tony nominated musical at the Waterloo East Theatre.

SR Productions have today announced that they will present a revival of the Tony-nominated musical [title of show] which will run at the Waterloo East Theatre for a limited three week run from 6 to 25 September 2016, with an official opening on 8 September.

Featuring music and lyrics by Jeff Bowen and book by Hunter Bell, the show follows two struggling writer-composers who decide to write a musical about two struggling writer-composers trying to write a musical with the help of their two best friends.

The show was originally presented at the New York Musical Theatre Festival in 2004 and went on to run off-Broadway at the Vineyard Theatre in 2006. It transferred to Broadway's Lyceum Theatre in 2008 where it ran for 13 previews and 102 regular performances. The London premiere was at the Landor Theatre in August, 2013.

[title of show] will be directed by Will Keith, with musical direction by Daniel Jarvis and lighting design by Andy Hill. The cast will include Daniel Mack Shand (Jeff), Louie Westwood (Hunter), Chloe Hawkins (Heidi) and Malindi Freeman (Susan).

SR Productions was formed in 2015 to bring forward and showcase new musical theatre performers to London audiences. Their previous productions include I Sing! at the Drayton Arms Pub Theatre.
