New production photos have been released for the Almeida Theatre's production of William Shakespeare's Hamlet starring Andrew Scott, currently playing at the West End's Harold Pinter Theatre for a limited run through to 2 September 2017. The West End transfer officially opens tonight!

Alongside Mr Scott in the title role, the photos feature his fellow cast members  Marty Cruickshank (Player Queen), Jessica Brown Findlay (Ophelia), Calum Finlay (Rosencrantz), Joshua Higgott (Horatio), Daniel Rabin (Reynaldo), David Rintoul (Ghost/Player King), Juliet Stevenson (Gertrude), Luke Thompson (Laertes), Peter Wight (Polonius), Angus Wright (Claudius) and Matthew Wynn (Bernardo/Player 3/Priest).

The production is ran at the Almeida Theatre in north London earlier this year, with an official opening on 28 February 2017. It was met with mixed reviews but with many praising Scott's performance as the Danish Prince.

This new production is directed by Robert Icke and features scenic design by Hildegard Bechtler, lighting design by Natasha Chivers, sound design by Tom Gibbons, and video design by Tal Yarden.

Andrew Scott most recently appeared in The Dazzle at Found111. His other theatre credits include Olivier Award-winning performances in Cock and A Girl in a Car with a Man, as well as Birdland, Dying City, Crave and Playing The Victim at the Royal Court; Sea Wall, Emperor and Galilean and Aristocrats at the National Theatre; Design for Living and Dublin Carol at the Old Vic; and The Vertical Hour on Broadway.

All photos are by Manuel Harlan.

Hamlet Tickets at the Harold Pinter Theatre are now on sale.
