Carley Stenson is best known for her 11 year stint on popular soap Hollyoaks, playing Steph Cunningham from 2000 - 2011.
After completing filming for Hollyoaks, she joined the cast of Legally Blonde at the Savoy Theatre, playing the role of Serena and understudying the lead role of Elle Woods. She then took over the role of Elle Woods from Sheridan Smith in 2011. When Legally Blonde closed in April 2012, Stenson moved straight onto another starring role in the West End – that of Princess Fiona in Shrek The Musical. A year later, she played the Lady of the Lake in Monty Python's Spamalot at the Playhouse Theatre.
Stenson was due to star in Sleepless in Seattle alongside her husband, fellow actor Danny Mac, but the production was postponed. More recently though, she's starred as Fantine in *Les Miserables*. Read our *Les Miserables* interview with Carley Stenson.
