Cole Escola is the writer and original star of Oh, Mary!. They are reprising their Tony Award-winning performance as Mary Todd Lincoln in the West End production from 20 July to 15 August. They previously originated the role on and off Broadway in 2024.
Escola is a writer and comedian known for their roles in the TV shows Search Party, Big Mouth, Difficult People, At Home with Amy Sedaris, and Jeffery & Cole Casserole, which Escola created with Jeffrey Self.
Escola was also a writer for the series Difficult People, Ziwe, and The Other Two.
