Cyndi Lauper on why people love Kinky Boots in the West End

Kinky Boots has been dazzling audiences at the Adelphi Theatre for years now, and is about to do the same at regional venues around the country as it embarks on a UK tour, but we wanted to get to the bottom of why so many people class the musical as their favourite.

Who better to ask than songwriter and pop legend Cyndi Lauper? We were lucky enough to get some time with her on a recent visit to London, so we asked her about Kinky, if there was anyone she'd like to see take on Lola who hasn't already, and if she is working on any new musicals to take the West End by storm (again).
