2023 Olivier Awards announce ceremony date

The West End theatre awards are back. The 2023 Olivier Awards will take place at the Royal Albert Hall on 2 April, the first Sunday of the month.

Established in 1976, the Olivier Awards celebrate the best of West End performances over the past years. Further details on show eligibility and 2023 Olivier Awards nominations will be announced at a later date.

At the 2022 Olivier Awards, Cabaret took home seven Olivier Awards including Best Musical Revival and all four musical acting awards for Eddie Redmayne, Jessie Buckley, Elliot Levey and Liza Sadovy. Life of Pi won five Olivier awards including Best New Play and seven actors who play the Tiger jointly won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role category.
