The Menier Chocolate Factory production of A Little Night Music, has posted closing notices for 25 July 2009 at the Garrick Theatre. (The show was booking to 5 Sep 2009)
The production was at the 180 seat Menier Chocolate Factory Theatre from 22 Nov 2008 to 8 March 2009, before transferring to the West End's Garrick Theatre, opening 7 April 2009, following previews from 28 March 2009, to good notices from the popular press: THE GUARDIAN says, "Delicious production." THE TIMES says, "At its finest Nunn’s production has needle-sharp poignancy." THE DAILY TELEGRAPH says, "I found myself almost continually entranced...It's a fine production of a musical that only misses greatness by a whisker."
The cast includes Hannah Waddingham (Desirée), Maureen Lipman (Madame Armfeldt), Alexander Hanson (Fredrik Egerman), Kelly Price (Countess Charlotte Malcolm), Jessie Buckley (Anne Egerman).
