ANNE ARCHER in "THE GRADUATE".

The Graduate: Anne Archer, will star as 'Mrs Robinson', from Monday 11th June 01. Sandra Dickenson will also join the cast as 'Mrs Braddock'. Andres Williams and Coral Beed will continue to star as 'Benjamin' and 'Elaine Robinson'. Amanda Donohoe, currently playing 'Mrs Robinson', will leave on 9th June 01 at the end of her contract.

Anne Archer is best known for playing 'Beth Gallagher' in the 1987 film 'Fatal Attraction'. Other films in which she has starred include 'Patriot Games', 'Clear and Present Danger', 'Short Cuts', 'Body of Evidence', 'Rules of Engagement' and 'The Art of War'.

Looking forward to playing 'Mrs Robinson' in London, Anne Archer said , " I like the theatre and she is a character who is so deliciously amoral."

The Graduate, is a comedy by Terry Johnson, adapted from the original novel by Charles Webb and the motion picture screenplay by Calder Willingham and Buck Henry.

The play has broken all box office records at the Gielgud theatre since opening on 5th April 00, where it opened with the highest advance for a play in the history of the West End. The play has taken over seven and a half million uk pounds at the box office and celebrates its 500th performance on 7th June 01.

The show is currently taking bookings to 29th Sept 01.
