Blood Brothers has extended its booking period by 12 months - tickets are now on sale to 26 Nov 2011 at the Phoenix Theatre
The show currently features Niki Evans as Mrs Johnstone. From 31 August Lyn Paul returns to the role to 23 Oct 2010
Blood Brothers is directed by Bob Tomson and Bill Kenwright. The design is by Marty Flood and the musical director is Rod Edwards.
Blood Brothers premiered in the West End in April 1983 at the Lyric Theatre and closed in October 1983. Bill Kenwright picked up the rights to the musical in 1987, and a re-vamped Blood Brothers and was revived at the Albery Theatre, in July 1988, before transferring to the Phoenix Theatre in November 1991, where it is currently taking bookings to 27 Nov 2010.
The story concerns a pair of twins from Liverpool who are separated at birth. Later in life their paths cross in friendship and anger.
