Bonnie Langford to join the cast of 9 to 5 at the Savoy Theatre

The full casting has been announced for the upcoming West End premiere of 9 to 5 the Musical at the Savoy Theatre, with Bonnie Langford set to play Roz Keith.

Langford is currently playing Dorothy Brock in 42nd Street at Theatre Royal Drury Lane. In 2012, she starred in the national tour of 9 to 5 the Musical, where she played Roz Keith alongside a cast including Natalie Casey and Ben Richards. Her previous West End credits include The Lady of the Lake in Spamalot, Roxie Hart in Chicago and Muriel Eubanks in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

Langford joins the previously announced cast including Louise RedknappAmber Davies, Natalie McQueen and Brian Conley.

The cast is completed by Victoria Anderson, Alexander Bartles, Ashford Campbell, Simon Campbell, Rhiane Drummond, Demmileigh Foster, Llandyll Gove, Lucinda Lawrence, Jenny Legg, Christopher Jordan Marshall, Natasha Mould, Sean Needham, Jon Reynolds, James Royden-Lyley, Giles Surridge, Sasha Wareham and Emily Woodford.

Based on the 1980 film starring Dolly Parton, 9 to 5 the Musical tells the story of female colleagues Violet, Doralee and Judy who dream up plans to kidnap their boss. As they try to change the way their office is run, the girls have to deal with unexpected visitors in a musical where the females take care of their business.

The musical features a score by Dolly Parton which received a Tony Award nomination for best original score. 

9 to 5 the Musical is set to open at the Savoy Theatre on 28th January 2019, running for a strictly limited engagement until 31st August 2019.
