Brenda Edwards and Lee Mead to star in ‘We Will Rock You’

The pair will play Killer Queen and Khashoggi in the Queen musical. We Will Rock You runs for 12 weeks at the London Coliseum this summer.

Set in a futuristic corporate world, the We Will Rock You musical follows a group of free-spirited bohemians as they rally against a global conglomerate and its boss, the Killer Queen. We Will Rock You uses 24 songs in Queen’s discography, including “We Are the Champions," "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Who Wants to Live Forever?"

Who is in Will Rock You?

Brenda Edwards will play Killer Queen. She previously played Killer Queen in the 2009 We Will Rock You tour, followed by a stint in the show at the Dominion Theatre.

Lee Mead will play Khashoggi. The actor rose to fame after winning the television show, Any Dream Will Do, to play Joseph in the West End. He’s since starred in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Legally Blonde and Wicked.

Ian McIntosh and Elena Skye will play Galileo and Scaramouche. Further casting will be announced at a later date.
