Full casting has been announced for Mike Bartlett's new play Wild which runs at the Hampstead Theatre in north London from 10 June to 16 July 2016, with an official opening on 16 June 2016.

Directed by James Macdonald, the full casting includes Jack Farthing, Caoilfhionn Dunne and John Mackay. It will feature designs by Miriam Buether, sound design by Christopher Stint and lighting by Peter Mumford.

"Last week, Andrew was that guy with his girl lunching in KFC, discussing apartments and making plans for the future. Today he's in Moscow, in an undisclosed hotel room, on the run and at risk of assassination. Last week, a nobody. This week, America's Most Wanted: a man who humiliated his country with one touch of a button."

Bartlett's play is described as being 'darkly comic', and explores the unexpected, bewildering, and life-changing consequences of challenging the status quo at a global level. As the State grows more powerful because of technology, and technology grows more powerful because of the State, where do the self-appointed protectors of the rights of the citizen stand? Heroes? Or traitors?

Mike Bartlett returns to the Hampstead Theatre following his adaptation of 'Chariots of Fire' which later transferred to the West End. His play 'King Charles III' played a sell-out season at the Almeida Theatre, following a run in the West End where it went on to the win the Olivier Award for Best New Play. It later transferred to Broadway, and was recently nominated for a Tony Award.
