"CAST CHANGES AND NEW BOOKING PERIOD FOR "CATS"

CATS, at the New London Theatre, is now taking bookings to 22nd Dec 2001.

There has also been some cast changes, Candice Evans now plays 'Cassandra', Ross Finnie 'Skimbleshanks', Barbara King 'Demeter', Rebecca Lock 'Jellylorum', Philip Michael 'Admetus'/'Macavity', Mark John Richardson 'Carbucketty', and Lindsay Wise as 'Jemima'. The rest of the cast includes Peter Bishop, Rebecca Louis, Kate Tydman, Peter Van Dosselaer, Stori James, Emma Woods, David Ashley, Emma Buckle, Julie Carlton, Matthew Cross, Nick Crossley, Heather Douglas, Chrissie Hammond, Emma Harris, Chris Houston, Tom Lucas, Campbell Mckenzie, Mark Mckerracher, Rachel Mooney, Neil Reynolds, Sebastian Rose, Gareth Snook, Catherine Terry and Marilyn Wulff. 

"CATS" celebrated its 19th birthday at the New London Theatre on 11th May 2000. As part of the 20th year celebrations, a display of memorabilia from productions around the world, from Ayers Rock to Aberdeen, has been mounted in the foyer of the New London Theatre Theatre. 

The show, which opened on 11th May 1981, is the longest running musical ever to play in the West End. In London, it has taken over £120 million at over 8,000 performances and has been seen by 8 million people. Worldwide, "Cats" has taken over £1 billion .

The show can currently be seen around the world including Japan, Hamburg, Budapest and on tour in Australia.  

  ( The stars of Cats will be turning on the Christmas lights at Whiteley's Shopping Centre, Queensway, Bayswater, London , W2, on Thursday 16th Nov at 5pm.)
