Cast Update for Much Ado About Nothing at Globe Theatre

Cast update for William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing, which opens at the Shakespeare's Globe Theatre 26 May 2011, following previews from 21 May - running to 1 Oct 2011.

Joining previously mentioned Eve Best* (Beatrice) & Charles Edwards (Benedict) are Joseph Marcell (Leonato), Ewan Stewart ( Don Pedro), Paul Hunter (Dogberry), Matthew Pidgeon (Don John), Joe Caffrey (Borachio), Phillip Cumbus, Marcus Griffiths Adrian Hood, Lisa McGrillis, David Nellist, John Stahl, Ony Uhiara, Helen Weir.

*Eve Best will only appear in performances until 10 September. Her replacemnet is to be confirmed.

It is directed by Jeremy Herrin , designed by Mike Britton, choreography by Sian Williams.

Benedick loves Beatrice and Beatrice Benedick, but (because neither will admit it) nothing seems capable of bringing them together. Only the intrigues of a resentful prince force Benedick to prove his love for Beatrice - by killing his best friend.
