Casting announced for Power at Cottesloe 27 Jun 03

Casting has been announced announced for Nick Dear's Power, which opens at the Cottesloe, NT 3 Jul 03, following previews from 27 Jun 03 and booking to 5 Jul 03.

Casting includes Robert Lindsay (Fouquet), Rupert Penry-Jones (Louis XIV), Stephen Boxer, Barbara Jefford, Jonathan Slinger, Geraldine Somerville, Hattie Morahan

It is directed by Lindsay Posner,with lighting by Wolfgang Goebbel.

Robert Lindsay's London stage credits include: 'Fagin' in the musiocal "Olivier" at the LOndon Palladium in 1996; RSC's "Richard III" at the Savoy in 1999. His tv credits include "My Family" for the BBC

Rupert Penry-Jones's London stage credits include: "Chips With Everything" at the Lyttelton, NT in 1997; "Don Carlos" at the Barbican Pit, "Timon of Athens" at the Barbican Theatre, both for the RSC in 2000; and "Dangerous Corner" at the Garrick in 2001.

Stephen Boxer's London stage credits include: "The Herbal Bed" at the Duchess in 1997; RSC's "Measure for Measure" at the Barbican Theatre in 1999; "Antarctica" at the Savoy in 2001.
