David Tennant returns to RSC production of Hamlet

David Tennant has returned to the RSC production of HAMLET at the Novello Theatre.

A statement from the RSC said: "David Tennant has made good progress following his recent back operation and began rehearsals yesterday (Fri 2 jan) in preparation for his return to the title role in Hamlet. He has rehearsed again today (Sat 3 Jan) and will perform this evening...We will be assessing David's return to each Hamlet performance next week on a day by day basis..."

David Tennant went out of the show on the 8th December due to a prolapsed disc and underwent surgery.

HAMLET is currently being performed at the Novello to 10 Jan 2009.
