Decade, a site-specific production by Headlong Theatre, at St Katharine Docks, near the Tower of London, from 1 Sep to 15 Oct 2011.

Two towers. Ten years. Thousands of opinions. An imaginative investigation into the legacy of 9/11. On September 11th, 2001, New York lived through a day, which supposedly changed the world forever. Everyone remembers where they were when they heard the news. 9/11 was the first global event in the age of the internet and its fallout is felt daily by people on every continent. Ten years on, Headlong, along with a team of major writers and thinkers, explore our responses to the defining event of our times.

The production is conceived and developed by Rupert Goold with Robert Icke. With thanks to The Public Theater, New York.

It is directed by Rupert Goold , designed by Miriam Buether, lighting by Malcolm Rippeth, choreography by Scott Ambler. Produced by Headlong Theatre in association with Chichester Festival Theatre.
