Tristan Baker and Charlie Parsons for Runaway Entertainment present Some Girl I Used To Know, a one-woman musical starring Denise van Outen, which will play a limited engagement at the Arts Theatre from 22 Aug to 13 Sep 2014. The show embarked on a UK tour earlier this year and has now added these West End dates to its schedule.

Some Girl I Used To Know is co-written by Denise van Outen and Terry Ronald, with musical supervision by Steve Anderson. It is directed by Michael Howcroft and features scenic design by Morgan Large, lighting by Joshua Carr and sound design by David Gregory.

Synopsis: 'Stephanie Canworth has it all: a successful career, supportive husband and she's a media darling. But it takes just one Facebook poke from a former love and the memories come flooding back. Is this really the life she wants? Songs from the 80s and 90s accompany Stephanie's journey down memory lane in this intimate story about life and love.'

Denise van Outen has appeared in the West End as Roxie Hart in 'Chicago' in 2001 at the Adelphi Theatre, and reprised the role on Broadway in 2002. She also performed in the one-woman musical 'Tell Me On A Sunday' by Andrew Lloyd-Webber in 2003 at the Gielgud Theatre, 'Rent Remixed' at the Duke of York's Theatre in 2007 and in 'Legally Blonde' at the Savoy Theatre from 2010 to 2011. She is also widely known as a presenter, starting her career on 'Massive!' and 'The Big Breakfast' and now presents her own Saturday lunchtime radio show on Magic 105.4. Her most notable TV credits include 'The Bill', 'Babes in the Wood', and 'Where the Heart is' and she placed runner-up in the 2013 edition of 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
