The Arcola Theatre in association with Nick of Time Productions and Jemima Khan will present a double bill of new plays titled Drones, Baby, Drones which will run at the Arcola Theatre in east London from 2 November to 26 November 2016, with an official opening on 7 November.

Described as two works that probe behind the scenes of America's controversial drone wars whilst asking what they will mean for our future, this world premiere will be directed by Nicolas Kent and Mehmet Ergen.

In This Tuesday by Emmy winner and Olivier nominee Ron Hutchinson, a CIA director learns her daughter has been injured in a car crash, a White House security adviser is sleeping with an intern, a Pentagon General is working out in the gym. It's 5am. In an hour, they have a vital decision to make.

In The Kid by David Greig it's Wednesday. A missile hits a wedding in Pakistan. 7000 miles away, two drone operators begin their celebration. Pushing the button was the start. If only it was the end...

The cast for both plays will include Anne Adams, Joseph Balderrama, Sam Dale, Raj Ghatak, Tom McKay and Rose Reynolds.

The double bill will feature design by Lucy Sierra, lighting and video design by Richard Williamson, sound designer by Neil McKeown and costume by Hanne Talbot.

Tickets for Drones, Baby, Drones are now on sale.
