Fat Pig extends one week to 29 Nov 2008
Fat Pig, written and directed by Neil LaBute, has been extended by one week to 29 Nov 2008 at the Comedy Theatre.
Fat Pig initially opened at the Trafalgar Studios 1, with the cast of Robert Webb, Ella Smith, Kris Marshall, Joanna Page, on 27 May 2008, following previews from 16 May to reasonable notices from the popular press: THE EVENING STANDARD says, "Induces waves of laughter." THE INDEPENDENT says, "Snappy production." THE STAGE says, "LaBute fails to find enough substance in the piece." THE TIMES says, "Sassy, dangerously comic dialogue and some subtle observation."
The play transferred to the Comedy Theatre with some cast changes on 11 Sep 2008.
Fat Pig currently features Kevin Bishop (Carter), Nicholas Burns (Tom), Kelly Brook (Jeannie), Ella Smith (Helen).
When Tom first meets Helen there is an instant connection, but its not exactly love at first sight... Helen is a bright, funny, sexy young woman who happens to be plus-sized - and then some - so its only so long before the insults start to fly from Tom's shallow yet shockingly funny office buddies.
