Felicity Kendal in Hay Fever transfer - Duke of York's

The Theatre Royal Bath production of Hay Fever, starring Felicity Kendal, will transfer to the West End's Duke of York's Theatre for a limited run from 29 April to 1 August 2015, with an official opening on 11 May 2015.

The comedy, by Noel Coward, is directed by Lindsay Posner. Felicty Kendal will play the role of Judith. She is best known for starring in the BBC television comedy series 'The Good Life' and her recent West End stage credits include 'Relatively Speaking' by Alan Ayckbourn, 'The Vortex' by Noel Coward and 'Mrs Warren's Profession' by George Bernard Shaw.

Synopsis: "Judith is the once glittering star of the London stage and member of the Bliss family. Together with her husband David, an egocentric novelist, and Sorel and Simon, their two Bohemian adult children - the family are incapable of sharing the spotlight. Unconventional, risque, and often downright rude, they are everything a respectable English family should not be. When each member of the family invites a guest to their rural retreat, the unassuming visitors are thrown into a living melodrama. Misjudged meetings, secret seductions and scandalous revelations proliferate during one outrageous weekend in Berkshire."

Hay Fever enjoyed a sold out run at the Theatre Royal Bath last summer and this was followed by a tour of Australia.
