Images from the rehearsal room of the upcoming London production of Buried Child have been released. Sam Shepard's Pulitzer Prize-winning play runs at the Trafalgar Studios 1 from 14 November to 18 February 2017, with an official opening on 1 December 2016.

Ed Harris, Amy Madigan and Jeremy Irvine lead the cast alongside Charlotte Hope, Jack Fortune, Barnaby Kay and Gary Shelford. Directed by Scott Elliott this dark, macabre and painfully funny family drama casts a brutal light on disenfranchised citizens, set in 1979 rural America as it reels from a recession and political unrest.

Buried Child premiered in San Francisco in 1978, winning the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1979. A Broadway production ran in 1996 transferring from the Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago and was nominated for five Tony Awards.

Buried Child runs at Trafalar Studios One from 14 November to 18 February 2017
