The West End cast of From Here to Eternity will reunite for a charity event, taking place later this month. Members of the cast and creative team will discuss the musical for one night only on 22nd June, with money raised going towards Acting for Others

Based on James Jones' novel of the same name, From Here to Eternity is set on the Hawaiian island of Oahu at the time of the Pearl Harbor attack. Relationships blossom in unexpected ways as the lives of a private and his platoon sergeant are set on a course they cannot control. From Here to Eternity features an original book by Bill Oakes, with music and lyrics by Stuart Brayson and Tim Rice.

From Here to Eternity played at the Shaftesbury Theatre from 30th September 2013 to 29th March 2014. The musical starred Darius Campbell as Warden, Robert Lonsdale as Prewitt, Rebecca Thornhill as Karen, Siubhan Harrison as Lorene and Ryan Sampson as Maggio.

In a review for LondonTheatre.co.uk, Mark Shenton praised Stuart Brayson's music, saying: "[the] score is as atmospherically layered as the design -- you could come out singing both -- and played with fierce commitment... Javier de Frutos's typically muscular choreography lends it an appealingly masculine bravura, and the massive company of 33 give it their all."
