"FUDDY MEERS" HAS BEEN CANCELLED

Fuddy Meers, starring Jane Krakowski and Paola Dionisotti , which was due to open at the Arts Theatre in Oct 02, has been cancelled !!!

It is reported that David Lindsay-Abaire's comedy has been cancelled by the producers because of a conflict with Jane Krakowski schedule. Apparently, she is cast to appear in "Nine" on Broadway next year which would have meant leaving "Fuddy Meers" early. So the producers decided to cancel the show rather than try to re-cast.

It's the second time this year that Stephen Henry's production has been cancelled. It was originally scheduled for this month's Edinburgh Festival Fringe but because of financial problems with one of their backers the show was shelved.
