Full cast announced for The Sea at the Haymarket

The full cast has been confirmed for Edward Bond's The Sea, which opens at the Haymarket Theatre 23 Jan 2008, following previews from 17 Jan - running to 19 Apr 2008

Joining previously mentioned Eileen Atkins (Mrs Rafi), David Haig (Hatch) & Marcia Warren (Jessica Tilehouse), are Sarah Annis (Rachel), John Branwell (Carter), David Burke (Evens), William Chubb (Vicar), Mariah Gale (Rose), Selina Griffiths (Mafanwy Price), Harry Lloyd (Willy Carson), Emma Noakes (Jilly), Russell Tovey (Hollarcut), Philippa Urquhart (Davis), Jem Wall (Thompson) .

It is directed by Jonathan Kent, designed by Paul Brown, lighting by Mark Henderson, sound by Paul Groothuis. It is produced by Theatre Royal Haymarket Company.

A wild storm shakes a small East Anglian seaside village and sets off a series of events that changes the lives of all its residents. 'Set in the high Edwardian world of 1907, The Sea is a fascinating blend of wild farce, high comedy, biting social satire and bleak poetic tragedy.'
