The full cast has now been announced for the West End return of James Graham's 2012 play This House which opens at the Garrick Theatre for a limited run from 19 November 2016 to 25 February 2017, with an official opening on 30 November 2016.

The cast will include Phil Daniels, Kevin Doyle, David Hounslow, Ed Hughes, Lauren O'Neil, Nathaniel Parker, Steffan Rhodri, Malcolm Sinclair and Sarah Woodward alongside Christopher Godwin, Peter Landi, Matthew Pigeon, Giles Taylor, Tony Turner and Orlando Wells.

Following two sell-out runs at the National Theatre and an upcoming run at Chichester Festival Theatre, this political drama received strong reviews when it opened at the National's Cottesloe Theatre on 18 September 2012 and went on to run at the larger Olivier Theatre from February to May 2013.

"1974. The UK faces economic crisis and a hung parliament. In a culture hostile to cooperation, it's a period when votes in the House of Commons are won or lost by one, when there are fist fights in the bars and when sick MPs are carried through the lobby to register their vote. It's a time when a staggering number of politicians die, and the building creaks under idiosyncrasies and arcane traditions."

The drama is set in the engine rooms of Westminster and aims to strip politics down to the practical realities of those behind the scenes: the whips who roll up their sleeves and on occasion bend the rules to shepherd and coerce a diverse chorus of MPs within the Mother of all Parliaments.

Directed once again by Headlong associate Jeremy Herrin, it will feature design by Rae Smith, sound design by Ian Dickinson, lighting design by Paule Constable and movement by Scott Ambler. This new West End run is produced by Nica Burns and Caro Newling for Neal Street Productions, and Headlong, in association with Jonathan Church Productions and Gavin Kalin.

Phil Daniels returns to the role of Bob Mellish, alongside David Hounslow who returns to the role of Joe Harper, Ed Hughes as Fred Silvester and Lauren O'Neil as Ann Taylor.

Tickets for the run at the Garrick Theatre are now on sale.
