The full cast has been announced for the upcoming production of White Christmas, a musical by Irving Berlin which opens at the Dominion Theatre on 12 November 2014, following previews from 8 November and running to 3 January 2015.
Joining the previously announced Aled Jones (Bob Wallace), Tom Chambers (Phil Davis), Wendi Peters (Martha), Graham Cole (General Waverley), Rachel Stanley (Betty Haynes) and Louise Bowden (Judy Haynes) will be:
Lori Haley Fox, Michelle Bishop, Phil Cole, Brendan Cull, Jonathan Halliwell, Vikki-Marie Ryan, Lucinda Lawrence, Karen Aspinall, Emma Caffrey, Hayley Reed, Helen Patching, Vicki Davids, Jennifer Davison, Grace Holdstock, Ross McLaren, Joshua Lay, Matt Cheney, Jonny Labey, Anthony Whiteman, Eddie Myles, Stuart Winter, Matt Clark and Gary Murphy. Amy Snudden, Emily Robins, Sophia Pettet and Tatum Confrey will alternate the role of Susan.
White Christmas tells the story of two ex-army friends as they team up with a pair of sisters to put on a show to save their former General's remote Vermont ski lodge that's fallen on hard times.
The show is designed by Anna Louizos, lit by Ken Billington, choreographed by Randy Skinner and has sound design by Clem Rawling. Costumes have been designed by Carrie Robbins. The producers are Michael Rose and U-Live for White Christmas Onstage (UK) Limited, in association with Paramount Pictures.
The Dominion Theatre has been refurbished prior to the limited eight-week run of White Christmas. The show, which is based on the Paramount Pictures film starring Bing Crosby, has music and lyrics by Irving Berlin and book by David Ives and Paul Blake. It includes many well known songs such as 'Let Yourself Go', 'Sisters', 'The Best Things Happen When You're Dancing' and the classic 'White Christmas'.
