Full cast confirmed for A Streetcar Named Desire at the Donmar Warehouse

The full cast has been confirmed for A Streetcar Named Desire, by Tennessee Williams, which opens at the Donmar Warehouse 28 July 2009, following previews from 23 July - running to 3 Oct 2009. (Public Booking opens 8 June!)

Joining previously mentioned Rachel Weisz (Blanche DuBois), Elliot Cowan (Stanley), Jack Ashton (Young Collector), Barnaby Kay (Mitch), Ruth Wilson (Stella), are Daniela Nardini (Eunice Hubbel), Charles Daish (Doctor), Judy Hepburn (Matron), Gary Milner (Steve Hubbel), Luke Rutherford (Pablo).

It is directed by Rob Ashford, designed by Christopher Oram, lighting by Neil Austin, sound by Adam Cork.

Fading southern belle Blanche DuBois unexpectedly appears at her sister's home in the stifling world of downtown New Orleans. With delusions of grandeur, Blanche stands in stark contrast to her new surroundings and her brother-in-law Stanley. His determination to reveal her secrets lead her to withdraw ever further away from reality, into a world of illusions.
