Full casting announced for Andrew Barth Feldman-led 'Nero'

Written by Steven Sater (book and lyrics) and Duncan Sheik (music), the musical reimagines Roman emperor Nero for the modern age.

The full cast has been revealed for Nero, which begins performances at Southwark Playhouse Elephant on 2 November, running through 5 December.

Joining Andrew Barth Feldman (Dear Evan Hansen, No Hard Feelings), who will make his London stage debut as ‘Nero’, are Stephen Carlile as ‘Seneca’ and Sally Dexter as ‘Agrippina’.

The cast also includes Nabi Brown as ‘Octavia’, Waylon Jacobs as ‘Tigellinus, Rhianne-Louise McCaulsky as ‘Poppea’, Timo Tatzber as ‘Britannicus’ and Liam Wrate as ‘Narcissus’, with Izzy Formby-Jackson, Jodie Knight, Rory Maguire, Zach Parkin, and Amy Punter.

The rest of the creative team includes choreographer James Cousins, musical supervisor and vocal arranger Phil Bateman, musical director Ben McQuigg, designer Georgia Lowe, lighting designer Robbie Butler, and sound designer Tony Gayle.
