Full casting announced for national premiere of On Your Feet at the London Coliseum

Casting for the West End premiere of On Your Feet! to play at the London Coliseum this summer has been announced.

Based on the lives of Gloria and Emilio Estefan, the musical follows their journey to international superstardom, with a soundtrack including "Rhythm is Gonna Get You", "1-2-3" and "Conga".

Christie Prades will make her West End debut as Gloria Estefan, reprising her performance from the 2015 Broadway production. Currently, she stars as Estefan in a touring production of On Your Feet! around the United States, with previous theatre credits including Vanessa in In the Heights.

At certain performances, Gloria Estefan will be played by Philippa Stefani, who recently played Daniela in the London premiere of In the Heights at King's Cross Theatre. Further West End credits include Ghost, I Can't Sing and Sister Act.

Emilio Estefan will be played by George Ioannides, whose West End credits include Mamma Mia!, Annie, also appearing in An Officer and a Gentleman at the Leicester Curve.

Madalena Alberto will play Gloria Fajardo, who recently starred in Aspects of Love at Southwark Playhouse, and has also appeared in recent West End productions of Evita and Cats. Karen Mann will play Consuelo, with theatre credits including a national tour of Fiddler on the Roof.

The role of 'Little Gloria' will be shared by Klaudia Gjergji, Holly McDonagh and Emily Perra, with Santiago Huertas Ruiz, Jonathan Naranjo and Alejandro Puentes Motato sharing the role of Nayib/Young Emilio/Jeremy.

The cast is completed by Hollie Cassar, Francisco Del Solar, Katie Dunsden, Eduardo Enrikez, Laura Friedrich Tejero, Denzel Giskus, Francesca Lara Gordon, Yonly Leyva Desdunes, Elia Lo Tauro, Martin McCarthy, Alicia Mencía, Ciro Lourencio Meulens, Carl Patrick, Clayton Rosa, Julia Ruiz Fernandez, Shanna Michelle Slaap, Dawnita Smith, Frank van Hengel, Despina Violari and Alain Zambrana Borges.

On Your Feet! is at the London Coliseum from 14th June to 31st August.
