The complete casting has been announced for The Actor's Nightmare at the Park Theatre, to be performed later this year.

Written by Christopher Durang, The Actor's Nightmare offers a satirical outlook into different areas of the entertainment industry, as an accountant is mistaken for an actor's understudy and forced to perform in a play.

Meaghan Martin will make her professional stage debut in the production, best known for starring in Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam for Disney. Recently graduating from LAMDA, Martin has also starred in television programmes including 10 Things I Hate About You and Melissa & Joey.

Layo-Christina Akinlude joins the cast of The Actor's Nightmare, recently appearing in The Secret Lives of Baba Segi's Wives at the Arcola Theatre and The Taming of the Shrew at Shakespeare's Globe. Adrian Richards will also star in the production, with National Theatre credits including The Winter's Tale, Macbeth and The Suicide.

The cast is completed by Stefan Menaul and Kate Sumpter.

The production is produced by 3 hearts canvas and Over Here Theatre Company, in association with the Park Theatre, with the upcoming show marking the world premiere of the specific curation.

The Actor's Nightmare is at the Park Theatre from 16th July to 10th August.
