Full casting announced for West End premiere of Pretty Woman: The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre

Ahead of the West End premiere of Pretty Woman: The Musical next month at the Piccadilly Theatre, the show's full cast has been named. They will join the previously announced Aimie Atkinson as Vivian Ward and Danny Mac as Edward Lewis in the stage adaptation of the classic 1990s romcom.

The role of Kit De Luca will be played by Rachael Wooding, who returns to the West End after playing the roles of Meat and Scaramouche in We Will Rock You. In 2016, Wooding appeared on ITV's Britain's Got Talent, reaching the semi-final.

Bob Harms will play the roles of Happy Man/Mr Thompson, recently starring in Come From Away at the Phoenix Theatre, which won best new musical at the 2019 Olivier Awards. He's also starred in Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Chicago and Dirty Dancing.

Best known for playing Ryan Malloy in Eastenders, Neil McDermott returns to the West End to play the role of Philip Stuckey, previously appearing in Shrek the Musical and The Wind in the Willows. Mark Holden will star as James Morse, who returns to the West End stage after playing Bill Devaney in The Bodyguard.

They will star alongside the Olivier Award-nominated actress Aimie Atkinson, who is best known for originating the role of Katherine Howard in Six, and Danny Mac, who recently starred in White Christmas at the Dominion Theatre.

Pretty Woman: The Musical will star a cast of 27, completed by Jemma Alexander, Andy Barke, Kimberly Blake, Katie Bradley, Oliver Brenin, Alex Charles, Olly Christopher, Ben Darcy, Daniel De Bourg, Hannah Ducharme, Nicholas Duncan, Paige Fenlon, Damon Gould, Alex Hammond, Antony Hewitt, Matt Jones, Serina Mathew, Katie Monks, Lily Wang, Joanna Woodward, and Charlotte Elisabeth Yorke.

Pretty Woman: The Musical creative team

Keeping the musical as true to the film as possible, Pretty Woman: The Musical features an original book by Garry Marshall and J.F Lawton, the latter being the film's original screenwriter. The musical also features original music and lyrics by Grammy Award-winning artist Bryan Adams and his songwriting partner, Jim Vallance, with new songs including "Rodeo Drive" and "Luckiest Girl in the World", as well as Roy Orbison's 1964 hit "Oh, Pretty Woman".

Pretty Woman: The Musical has scenic design by David Rockwell, costumes by Tom Rogers from the original Broadway designs by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Kenneth Posner and Philip S. Rosenberg and sound design by John Shivers.

About Pretty Woman: The Musical

Based on the 1990 film of the same name, Pretty Woman: The Musical tells the story of a wealthy businessman named Edward Lewis, who strikes up a relationship with Hollywood sex worker Vivian Ward. Escorting her to events around the city, the pair grow closer together.

Pretty Woman: The Musical received its world premiere in Chicago in 2018 ahead of a year-long engagement at the Nederlander Theatre on Broadway.

Pretty Woman: The Musical will begin previews at the Piccadilly Theatre on 13th February, ahead of a press night on 1st March.
