
Further cast revealed for 'The Story' at the National Theatre
Based on a true story, the play follows an ambitious black reporter who stands against her editor to pursue an incendiary lead.
Casting has been revealed for The Story at the National Theatre. Performances begin in the Olivier theatre from 27 August.
Joining the previously announced Letitia Wright (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever) are Aliyah Odoffin (All My Sons), Wilf Scolding (Andor), Ashley Thomas (Hostage), and Lorraine Toussaint (Orange is the New Black).
The cast also includes Tee Arnold (The Prince), Donna Augustin (St Marks), Antonia Bernath (Downton Abbey), Linseigh Green (The Drifter’s Girl), Jay Simpson (Black Mirror) and Unique Spencer (Top Boy).
Tracey Scott Wilson’s newsroom thriller is directed by National Theatre Associate Artist Clint Dyer. Based on a true story, the play follows an ambitious black reporter who stands against her editor to pursue an incendiary lead.
