Ghost Stories transfers to Duke of York's 25 Jun 2010

The Lyric Hammersmith / Liverpool Everyman/Playhouse Production of Ghost Stories by Andy Nyman and Jeremy Dyson, will transfer to the West End's Duke of York's Theatre opening 13 July 2010, following previews from 25 June 2010, booking to 7 Nov 2010.

The 'scary' comedy has had sold out runs Liverpool Playhouse (4 to 20 Feb 2010) and Lyric Hammersmith (24 Feb to 17 April 2010), where it received good notices from the popular press: "Ingenious, creepy and horribly enjoyable show." (Telegraph); "I 'enjoyed' every creepy minute." (Independent); "You'll have a scream" (Time Out). "Hugely entertaining and a predominantly fun piece of theatre." (The Stage)

It is directed by Andy Nyman, Jeremy Dyson & Sean Holmes, designed by Jon Bausor, lighting by James Farncombe.

Three men gather, each with an uncanny tale to tell: their chilling stories will bleed off the stage and into your dreams.

The producers of the show issue a warning:"Please be advised that Ghost Stories contains moments of extreme shock and tension. The show is unsuitable for anyone under the age of 16. We strongly advise those of a nervous disposition to think very seriously before attending."
