Ghosts extends to 22 March 2014 at Trafalgar Studios

Henrik Ibsen's Ghosts has extended its booking period by two weeks at the Trafalgar Studios 1 Theatre to 22 March 2014. The play opened 17 Dec 2013, following a two-month run at the Almeida Theatre in north London.

Adapted and directed by Richard Eyre. Cast includes Lesley Manville (Helene Alving), Jack Lowden (Oswald Alving), Brian McCardie (Jacob Engstrand), Charlene McKenna (Regina Engstrand), Adam Kotz (Pastor Manders). Produced in the West End by Sonia Friedman Productions and the Almeida Theatre.

Helene Alving has spent her life suspended in an emotional void after the death of her cruel but outwardly charming husband. She is determined to escape the ghosts of her past by telling her son, Oswald, the truth about his father. But on his return from his life as a painter in France, Oswald reveals how he has already inherited the legacy of his father's dissolute life.
