Goodnight Mr Tom - The Musical at Bridewell Theatre

The Tower Theatre Company presents Goodnight Mr Tom - The Musical adapted by Michelle Magorian from her classic novel, music by Gary Carpenter, at the Bridewell Theatre, a 134-seater fringe venue in the City of London, from 17 to 21 Dec 2013.

Directed by Allan Stronach, this is a story about two very different people who have both been hurt by life and who are flung together as war threatens. Eight year old William, an evacuee from London, is sent to the heart of the English countryside to stay with elderly recluse Tom Oakley. He meets some fascinating characters before his cruel and selfish mother demands he return to London.
