Rosemary Ashe was to have played 'Rose' in Gypsy A Musical Fable, at Landor Theatre, a fringe venue in Clapham, south London from 2 to 27 Aug 2011.

Book by Arthur Laurents, Music by Jule Styne, Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, Suggested by memories of Gypsy Rose Lee.

Directed by Andrew Keates, designed by Freya Groves , lighting by Howard Hudson, choreography by Sam Spencer Lane , sound by Sarah Weltman . Produced by Theatrica Ltd, in association with The Landor Theatre.

Follows the dreams and efforts of Rose to raise two daughters to perform onstage and casts an affectionate eye on the hardships of show business life.
