Set 19 years after Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger graduate from Hogwarts, the magical trio are back at the school of witchcraft and wizardry. Harry works at the Ministry of Magic, while his son must struggle with his family legacy.

The Harry Potter and the Cursed Child cast includes Jamie Ballard as Harry Potter, joined by Susie Trayling as Ginny Potter, Dominic Short as Albus Potter, Thomas Aldridge as Ron Weasley, Michelle Gayle as Hermione Granger, Phoenix Edwards as Rose Granger-Weasley, James Howard as Draco Malfoy, and Luke Sumner as Scorpius Malfoy. The full company is made up of over 40 actors.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child features an original book by Jack Thorne, based on ideas by Thorne, J. K. Rowling and John Tiffany. Tiffany directs, with movement by Steven Hoggett, scenic by Christine Jones, costume design by Katrina Lindsay, lighting design by Neil Austin, sound design by Gareth Fry and illusions and magic by Jamie Harrison.
