Helen Dallimore Cinderella Into the Woods at Open Air

Helen Dallimore has been cast as 'Cinderella' in Into the Woods, at the Open Air Theatre, joining previously mentioned Hannah Waddingham (Witch), Jenna Russell (Baker's Wife), Marc Antolin, Valda Aviks, Billy Boyle, Gaye Brown, Sophie Caton, Alice Fearn, Mark Goldthorp, Amy Griffiths, Mark Hadfield, Amy Ellen Richardson, Ben Stott, Gemma Wardle., along with Michael Xavier (Wolf and Cinderella's Prince). (Judi Dench will feature as the voice of the Giant)

The musical opens 11 Aug 2010, following previews from 5 August - running to 11 September 2010.

Into the Woods has music & Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, book by James Lapine, and is directed by Timothy Sheader, designed by Soutra Gilmour, lighting by Jon Clark, sound by Mike Walker.

The story of a baker and his wife who will be granted their wish for a child if they can deliver Cinderella's slipper, Red Riding Hood's cape, Rapunzel's long hair and Jack's cow to the wicked witch.
