How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, will be revived at Ye Old Rose and Crown by All Star Productions.

All Star Productions will present a fringe revival of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning musical satire 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying' at the Ye Olde Rose and Crown Theatre in Walthamstow, North East London from 6-24 May 2014, with a press night on Friday 9 May.

How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying was most recently seen on Broadway in 2011 in a production directed and choreographed by Rob Ashford, which starred Daniel Radcliffe in the lead role of window- washer J.Pierrepont Finch. The musical has not been seen in the West End since 1963, despite a number of fringe revivals.

'How to Succeed...' is based on the book of the same name by Shepherd Mead and follows aspiring business executive J.Pierrepont Finch as he finds a copy of the book and uses it to guide his way up the slippery corporate ladder. Starting in the mailroom of the World Wide Wickets Company he uses the book to leapfrog over the boss's son Bud Frump to begin his ascent to the position of executive. He catches the eye of the impressionable Rosmary, who longs to be a suburban housewife, and is determined to make Finch her man. As office politics, sex, greed and corruption all come into play, Finch soon finds himself in hot water, leading to a number of hilarious consequences.

Featuring a score by Frank Loesser ('Guys and Dolls') and book by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock & William Gilbert, 'How to Succeed...' is a memorable musical comedy. Featuring songs such as "Coffee Break", "Happy to Keep His Dinner Warm" and "Brotherhood of Man", this show gives 1960s office politics in a whole new perspective

All Star Productions have previously produced revivals of other classic musicals such as 'She Loves Me', 'Follies' and 'Little Me'. 'How to Succeed...' is produced by Andrew Yon for All Star Productions Ltd and features direction by Dawn Kalani Cowle, choreography by Brendan Matthew and musical direction by Aaron Clingham.
