Illness forces Fully Committed to close

Fully Committed has been forced to close at the Arts Theatre due to the illness of Mark Setlock.

This one-man show opened at the Arts Theatre in October 2004 and was booking to April 2005, however Mark Setlock has been ill a couple of weeks now and so the producers have decided to cancel all remaining peformances.

A struggling actor, Sam sits in a grotty room in the basement of the building, fielding literally hundreds of calls every day from the most demanding, obnoxious, snivelling and frankly crazy would-be restaurant goers all after the same thing. A table for dinner - table 19 if possible - tonight if possible! Becky Mode's play is a comic tour-de-force introducing the audience through Sam to the crazy world of chic restaurants, power-mad chefs, desperate resting actors, domineering Maitre-d's. All of the characters in the show are played by one actor, Mark Setlock, who created the role in New York, produces a range of accents and mannerisms bringing life to a cast of over 40 characters.
