Imelda Staunton and Giles Terera to star in Donmar Warehouse Christmas concert

'Looking A Lot Like Christmas' will be online on 16 December.

The Donmar Warehouse will stage a Christmas concert. Looking A Lot Like Christmas will be filmed at The Actors' Church, which will premiere on 16 December.

The hour-long event will include a range of musical numbers, sketches and festive poetry, performed by Britain's finest actors. Those announced today include the four-time Olivier Award-winning actress Imelda Staunton alongside Giles Terera, who won an Olivier for his performance as Aaron Burr in Hamilton. Jim Carter, Rosalie Craig, Minnie Driver and Sharon Rose will also star, with special guests to be named in the coming days.

Looking A Lot Like Christmas is directed by Simon Evans, with musical direction by Nigel Lilley and scenic design by Grace Smart.

The event will be available to watch for free, courtesy of the Donmar Warehouse's YouTube channel. All audience members are encouraged to donate to the Donmar Warehouse's charity appeal, with 15% of all proceeds going to The Connection at St Martin's.

Looking A Lot Like Christmas will be streamed on 16 December.
