Jackie Clune & James Dreyfus join cast of Candide

Jackie Clune & James Dreyfus join the cast of Candide at the Menier Chocolate Factory, a 180-seat Off West End venue, near London Bridge, from 23 Nov 2013 to 22 Feb 2014.

Jackie Clune is to play the Old Lady and James Dreyfus is to play Dr Pangloss. They join previously mentioned Fra Fee (Candide), Scarlett Strallen (Cunegonde), Cassidy Janson (Paquette), Ben Lewis (the Govenor and Vanderdendur), David Thaxton (Maximilian), Carly Anderson, Jeremy Batt, Michael Cahill, Christopher Jacobsen, Frankie Jenna, Rachel Spurrell, Helen Walsh, Matt Wilman.

From Westphalia to the far reaches of the New World, Candide's journey of discovery is anything but dull. Through anguish, happiness, loss and love this is a adventure that seeks to prove 'life is happiness indeed'. Features the classic songs 'Glitter and Be Gay' and 'Make Our Garden Grow'.
