Jodhi May & Richard Coyle cast in Polar Bears at Donmar

Jodhi May & Richard Coyle have been cast in Polar Bears, By Mark Haddon, which opens at the Donmar Warehouse 6 April 2010, following previews from 1 April - running to 22 May 2010.

Directed by Jamie Lloyd, designed by Soutra Gilmour, lighting by Jon Clark, sound by Ben & Max Ringham.

One man's struggle to love, support and live with someone suffering from a psychological condition. John has never met anyone like Kay. When the moon is in the right phase, she is magnetic and amazingly alive. But when the darkness closes in, she is lost to another world, a world in which John does not belong.

Jodhi May's London stage credits include "Blackbird" at the Albery Theatre in 2006; "The Talking Cure" at the Cottesloe, NT in 2002 & "Platonov" at the Almeida in 2001. Her television work includes "The Street" and "The Other Boylen Girl". Her film work includes "Defiance", "Flashbacks of a Fool", "Nightwatching", "Land of the Blind".

Richard Coyle's London stage credits include "The Lover / The Collection" at the Comedy in 2008; "Don Carlos" at the Gielgud in 2005; "After Miss Julie" at Donmar Warehouse in 2003; "The York Realist" at the Royal Court & Strand in 2002; "Proof" at the Donmar Warehouse in 2002. He is known to many for his role as Jeff Murdoch in the BBC comedy series "Coupling".
